Nice effort but no Chromecast icon appears (and yes, it works flawlessly on Chrome).Keeping an eye on this though. A remarkable effort.Suggestions / Bugs:1) I have my own VPN so maybe make that configurable (and be able to turn it off entirely). I also use a private tracker for torrenting and SOCKS5 support would be stellar. But still, I agree with the defaults and they should be kept that way!2) Can't choose audio track of the video file3) A remote mobile app (pretty sure you know your competition and what Videostream offers in this regard).

Hey!Could you talk to us via the chat available on the website (this would help us debug the Chromecast issue, and the multiple audio tracks. Both should work.).And thanks for the suggestions! Here are some comments:1. We wanted to keep the app super accessible at first (no need for anything else to start using it).
Depending on the general feedback we get, we may add more advanced options later on.2. This is supported, so probably a bug that we have to fix.3. Definitely something we will take a look at soon.
For now, we wanted to focus on the core app. Looks promising but I'm definitely having seeing some issues.Windows 10 really didn't want to install this, neither did Avast. The first file I played was an MP4. It loaded and played instantly and flawlessly.I see the Chromecast icon at the bottom, clicked on it and it switched over to the TV and shows that the video is loading, but stays on that loadin screen and never plays.Tried playing several AVI files and it just showed a loading screen and never played. Kept closing and reopening Soda Player and tried and tried and they finally played. Tried to cast them and got the same results as with the MP4 file.
Never could cast anything. Waited several minutes and it still shows the video name and the progress loading bar at the bottom of the TV screen.Am I just not seeing a controls menu or does one not exist?
I'm having to close Soda in order to close a video and open another.Would love to have speed controls, meaning ability to play videos 25% faster, slower, etc.Best of luck!. Hey, sorry about all that (and thanks for the bug reports).1) Yep, we didn't sign the app yet (in the process of getting the signing certificates) and Windows/antivirus really don't like that, so while not seeing it as a threat, they make the installation harder.5) Yep, no menu for now, as we honestly didn't know what to put there except an Open button. We're trying to figure something nice for Windows that doesn't involve a huge (and probably empty) grey bar at the top.6) That's a tough one, we believe it's rarely used (and to be honest, none of us ever used that feature).
Thanks for the feedback, if there are enough of you we may end up adding that:)Regarding 3., 4., could you talk to us via the live chat available on the website? Those are definitely special bugs and we would love to get a bit more info in order to fix them.
